Avimetal is based in the USA, a subsidiary of Coronet Metals US Inc., and has a branch office in Korea which has developed a solution for cleaning up heavy metal such as cadmium, cyanide and mercury contaminated tailings. Avimetal has begun research and development for the treatment of mining tailings and slags past 10 years, and the final results represent various environmentally-friendly processes of tailings and slags to not only clean, but also work to recover precious metal and valuable base metal from them.

James Gim has 34 years of aviation experience with his career in the airlines and Boeing Commercial Airplane Group. James was awarded the Best Boeing Representative of the Year for his contributions in the implementation of the critical design change of Boeing 747-400 avionic and electrical systems during introduction of stage of sales when Boeing was pending orders of Boeing 747-400 airplanes due to poor dispatch reliability. As a result of his contributions, the dispatch reliability has increased from 88% to 99.88%, and this resulted in large order, and to the 747-400 becoming a bestseller of large transport airplanes. Mr. Gim has served as a Boeing Representative. He helped many airlines change from being in the initial stage of operation to becoming large fleets of airlines such as Air China, China Southwest Airlines, Chongqing Airlines, Great Wall Airlines, Atlas Air, Northern American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Tiger Airways, and Korean Air. His last job with Boeing was as a Boeing Representative JFK Branch Manager. Mr. Gim provides a lot of technical consultation for the introductory support of B747-400 with SIA, Qantas, Atlas Air, Thai Airways, Air China and AMECO.
