An MBA from FMS-BHU (1978-80 batch), Avinash has been associated with various management institutes and management bodies such as Delhi Management Association, where he was a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman/Co-Chairman of various functional committees. Avinash was also a member of the Commercial Tax Advisory Committee and State Tax Board of the Uttar Pradesh Government. In the past, Avinash was a member of the FICCI Business Delegation to Russia and has also been the member of the Indian-Hungarian Joint Business Council.Avinash brings with him rich experience with two decades in the Modi Group and over a decade in providing staffing solutions. He started his career as a Management Trainee in the Modi Group in the year 1980 and became C.E.O. of a U.S. Joint Venture of the same group at the age of 37 in the year 1996. During his two decade association with the group, Avinash worked across functions such as Corporate Planning, International Marketing and Sales.
