Overview: Currently working as a Senior Process Engineer at Glencore Nordenham, Germany and I am about to graduate from my doctoral studies from TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany. My Ph.D. research is on TSL smelter, where my work is to develop novel in-situ measuring techniques like acoustics and lance motion sensor to determine the bath properties and bubble dynamics. Thereby, providing big data to validate CFD models. Introduction: I am a passionate researcher/engineer, who has expertise in the area of pyrometallurgy, foundry technology and sustainability & circular economy. I have graduated with my Master's degree focusing on Metallurgy and Material Science Engineering (spec: Process Technology for Metals) from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Currently, I am about to graduate from my doctoral research in the area of Non-ferrous Metals (e.g., Cu) and investigating thermodynamics, kinetics, heat and mass transfer, metal interactions, slag chemistry, metal-slag-gas interface, etc. in Top Submerged Lance (TSL) furnace. I'm responsible for providing technical solutions for Ally Great Limited (AGL), a consulting firm for Casting products. We have clients worldwide, and our foundry facilities are located in China and Taiwan (Yeong Guan Group).Scientific expertise: Bath Smelters, SEM, EDX, AFM, STM, Optical microscopy, Nano-fabrication techniques, CNT and fibers, Additive manufacturing techniques (SLM, EBM, DIW, Fluid FM, Electroplating techniques, etc.), Metallography, Heat transfer, Metal forming, Mechanical testings (tensile, compression, fatigue and hardness), Ferrous and non-ferrous metals (Iron and Steel Making, Metal Recycling), foundry techniques, Electrochemistry, TEM, FIB, XRD, 3D-printing (polymer and fibers), Nanoindentation, Thin film deposition (PVD and CVD).
