Create and maintain an effective department organization chart, which is designed for flexibility and growth• Prepare, execute, monitor and update at regular intervals the business plan for the department• Monitor and improve key departmental productivity indicators including but not limited to:• Instill and foster a climate of compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer policies/requirements.• Map and understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency to offer customers better cycle times and service as well as controlling costs.• Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are documented and kept up to date in the Desk Level Standard Operating Procedures database.• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors (airlines, trucking companies, and others)• Work to be our vendors lowest cost customer promoting shipper built units by origins, and other creative local market solutions to lower overall cost for both parties.• Evaluate vendors at defined intervals per company policy, focusing on areas of possible improvement with corrective action plans where needed.• Actively develop business for department through active involvement in sales and retention process and close coordination with sales department• Ensure Quality Management Reviews and scorecards (QMRs) are completed with your regular customers.• Pro-actively provide pricing alternatives, routing solutions and technical assistance to clients through internal sales both regional and global.• Respond to requests for proposal, quotation or information timely and with market competitive pricing matching the scope of service required by the customer.• Assist District Manager with preparation of annual department budget.• Meet monthly with District Manager to review department financial PnL activity.

onsibilities:• Perform monthly audits to monitor adherence to Trade Compliance.• Create shipment reports to analyze and audit shipments.• Provide internal training to the team to build awareness on Trade Compliance.• Communicate and promote a positive environment in each branch to help understand and provide a solution-oriented approach.• Provide periodic status updates to stakeholders and formulate new processes.• Work with Accounts Management & Sales team to increase awareness to clients on Trade Compliance related topics and be an outward example as a valuable, integral part of quality customer service.• Establish, promote, and maintain a collaborative working relationship within the District by supporting branch and District Trade Compliance.• Foster an environment of uniform compliance by implementing best practices in Trade Compliance, as directed by the RTCM.• Lead by example, be consistent, and communicate with RTCM and DTC, as required.

• Responsible for preparation of monthly analysis reports of customer retention & growth and helping customers by responding to their queries in time.• Responisble for maintaining Service Provider Agreements (SPA) & Scope of Work (SOW) for approved service providers by monitoring actual standards,elecronic pick-ups & delivery codes to and from and conducting Annual Retention Reviews.• Accountable for implementation of Operational Process Standards for shipments, managing pick ups and all related activities of cargo & general transportation.• Maintaining actual check on receivables and payables on time and gererating reports for Management. • Effectively handled the responsibility of measuring monthly performance as per the agreed KPI’s.• Responsible for preparation of reports of costs and revenue from time to time and presenting the same to Management
