Hey, I'm Avinash [he/him], an aspiring mechanical engineer at the University of Calgary. Along with a minor in Aerospace Engineering, I will be graduating in December 2024Activities in school- Was the President of the Engineering Students' Society and in charge of leading a group of 40 student leaders who are part of my council. I was the Vice President of the Engineering Students' Society for two consecutive years. I learn to host events for the student body and manage my team. I have learned a lot about my organizational and management skills.- Used the knowledge acquired from my aerospace and mechanical classes and applied them to the GNCTR team at UofC. I've worked with the superstructure and technical exhibit team to make a good toboggan, with excellent presentation.Aspirations:- My dream is to be involved in the future of the automotive/aviation business, especially regarding its sustainability and longevity.- I'm very open to change as I see it as an opportunity to grow. I always want to keep learning and adapting as the world changes for whatever the future has to offer - in the professional and personal sense.Some things I enjoy:- I play different instruments- Love listening to all types of genres of music- Addicted to traveling to different places and road trips!
