4 X 600MW IPP Thermal Power PlantKey Responsibilities• Installation/erection, testing of MV/LV Oil filled transformers in various voltages ie., 220kV, 33kV, 13.8kV, 11kV, 6.6kV, 480V. LV/MV/HV Switchgears of 33kV, 6.6kV Switchgears, 480V.• Supervise & monitor the implementation of Permits to works (PTW) & associated certificates with respect to various work environment of Construction, pre-commissioning.• Coordinate and meeting with other disciplines of piping, mechanical, civil, Equipment team for the smooth flow of execution and stand to solve an issue if any.• Prepare and verify 3 weeks & 4weeks look ahead construction & pre-comm schedule. Determine the most cost-effective construction methods and use of personnel, material, equipment, and subcontractor.• Ensure contractors/Sub-con are claiming the qty’s regularly for the E&I execution and clearing the bills and warranty with the project finance team. • Follow up the (DCN) Design change notice from the engineering (If any changes on the IFC drawings) and review up and proceeding with the formal transmission to the Sub-contractors.• Issue an NCR (non-conformance report) in case of absence/misusing with respect to Quality and Safety in due accordance with specification, drawings and standards. Duly follow up with the team to close the NCR in confirmative manner/record.• Design and delivery of basic engineering document including preparing Technical specifications, Estimation, Request for Quotation, Scope of work, and Single line diagrams• Vendor drawings & data review. Expediting and material management. • Technical bid management, coordination, and bid Evaluation. Review of Engineering and design documents. Site vendor management and temporary power distribution arrangement. Issuing equipment from Warehouse to vendors. Receiving and inspection of Electrical equipment at site. Witnessing Site acceptance test for Major electrical equipment (Transformer, Switchgear, DB etc.). Fault finding and Fault analysis.
