Actors' Equity Association represents more than 51,000 live theatre Principal Actors, Chorus Actors and Stage Managers throughout the United States. The Executive Director is thus responsible for the leadership of the organization (including operational and financial management of Equity’s nationally-based professional staff) and the collective bargaining and contract oversight process for more than 40 national and regional contracts. The Executive Director also facilitates and works collaboratively with Equity’s governing Council, and the President to establish goals and leads a talented team of more than 110 staff to implement Equity’s strategic plan.
