Key projects during my time at ADP on the architecture team for distributed database services: * Evaluate and test the capabilities of various distributed databases. This is a key function of a database architecture member: to evaluate the various "distributed" properties of databases. This includes, but is not limited to, measuring the performance, consistency, availability and redundancy of various database solutions.* Lead developer of Database as a Service (DBaaS) - a full suite of database services for the private cloud. Through DBaaS, you can provision MongoDB, Neo4J, SQL Server, Oracle 11g and 12c.* P2Q - Architected a framework which facilitates the movement of data from Production to UAT.* Production Data Copy - An offshoot of the "P2Q" project, which allows ADP's app developers to spin up inexpensive virtual copies of databases to test / develop / debug against.* Create and maintain automation scripts (written in Python) for a variety of database technologies including MongoDB, Neo4j and OrientDB.Generally speaking, I worked on tooling and infrastructure automation projects for ADP. This full time role was majorly focused on expanding Database as a Service, which was developed from the ground up during my internship.Responsibilities: * Select tools and libraries for automation projects * Design and plan architecture for software development efforts * Provide training to organization on development standards * Play the role of "strong individual contributor" in all projects * Onboard new developers to Database as a Service development Tools and libraries used: React, babel, webpack, eslint, react-router, redux, PHP, Node.js, jQuery.

• Simplified complex workflows within an inventory management system with bespoke tooling. Reduced many workflows from 7 - 10 steps to 2 - 3 steps.• Generate various types of reports from a Microsoft SQL Server database using C#.• Implemented biometric payroll solution• JavaScript and Python utilized extensively for general purpose automation

• Extended code for the popular LMS (Learning Management System), Moodle.• Worked heavily with PHP (Moodle's primary language), CSS and JavaScript.• Developed custom theme for Moodle that mimiced Google's visual design language in 2012.• Met with high profile clients to gather requirements and provided iterative results week after week.
