Wine has always been an interest in the family. My father was a Bordeaux addict. As so many in the late seventies, after the first rose-hype, you either stayed there or made the switch to the “real” wine. At that time that was Bordeaux and later on Burgundy. My father went to all auctions to build a collection of mainly red Bordeaux, Chateau Margaux was his favorite. Later when I changed my profession to wine I thought I knew a lot, but when I started the wine academy I came to the conclusion that I had to learn a lot. That actually most of the countries in the world between certain latitudes manufacture wine. Even the Netherlands, with Gelderland as the main Province.Our goal is to be a key player in the restaurant business, advising the right wine for the right food.
