An internationally focused career in the financial sector spanning over 30 years with experience in building successful, trust-based relationships at the highest level, helping governments, shareholders and management navigate and execute some of the most complex, business-defining transactions for their companies and sectors.As a Director at UBS in London, head of the Rothschild office in Portugal and, subsequently, responsible for Citigroup's investment banking coverage in the country, and then as co-Founder and Partner of Rockbridge, I secured and led major, high profile financial advisory and capital markets transactions across a number of industries and jurisdictions, including a number of privatisations. As a Member of the restricted Selecta SGFII Board of Directors, managing roughly €700 million in real estate assets in 11 funds, I was given the possibility to develop my abilities as a regulated asset manager in the real estate sector.I have brought to bear this experience to Ombú Capital, guiding international institutional capital on its investment in the Portuguese market and, as a local operating partner, unlocking and creating value for invested assets over time.
