Responsible for the plan review and approval of state capital improvement and community college building projects within the civil and structural engineering context. Projects are reviewed for design correctness, monetary efficiency, and compliance with state codes and guidelines. Additional responsibilities include administering the State’s flood plain management policy, support for the facility condition assessment program, assisting with the pre-selection and designer interviews, and addressing the concerns and needs of the client.

Responsible for producing design drawings, specifications and construction documents. Responsibilities also include directly interfacing with the client and related city/state agencies. Also responsible for code compliance, QA/QC and review work of junior engineers.
