Implemented project management tools to develop the Adoption Department's orientation training program. Promoted improved health outcomes by training pre-adoptive parents on how to care for traumatized foster-care children, thus preventing further public health crisis of Adverse Childhood Experiences, or ACEs. Worked with MDHHS staff and WHS foster-care workers to advocate for my adoptable children to receive their medical, dental, and therapeutic exams in a timely manner. Collaborated regularly with county and high state-level internal and external members within the Michigan Child Welfare System to proactively remove any barriers and provide state-recommended adoption approvals. Coordinated and participated in meetings with multi-departmental staff and pre-adoptive family clients to support and evaluate adoption permanency plans and goals and to remove adoption-preventing barriers. Completed all written reports, statistical forms, legal adoption paperwork, billing statements and case notes within firm time-frames by maintaining strict confidentiality standards, adhering to all laws, policies, and requirements as specified by the Court, Federal, and State policies, resulting in furthering the organization’s mission and reaching adoption permanency goals.

Performed biochemical and psychiatric clinical research pertaining to 150 cortisol-saliva samples from PTSD Veterans. Developed methods for collecting and organizing biochemical samples and data to conduct experimental test efficiency. Implemented laboratory techniques including, but not limited to, ELISA assays, calibration, and centrifuging specimens. Analyzed test samples and formulated data into SPSS and Excel to construct reports and presentations for research. Successfully presented research data results at The 2016 UT-Masters in Biomedical Science Student Conference.

Assisted over 16 adults with traumatic brain injuries by performing physical rehabilitation, implementing behavior and health protocols, and providing patient care services. Supervised clients on the majority of their community outings. Maintained therapeutic relationships with clients by engaging them in social events and reinforcing positive behaviors. Communicated and reported client behavioral concerns/progress effectively with healthcare providers and coworkers.

Recruited family subjects to participate in the Racial and Educational Development research study. Acted as the study's point-of-contact, obtained parental consents, distributed surveys, and facilitated interviews with over 40 families. Video recorded, transcribed, coded interview sessions, and performed data entry using SPSS software. Contributed to preparing published scientific articles by researching and providing bibliographical data. Assisted 8 graduate students by conducting educational research and collecting data on Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor elementary/middle school children.

Implemented behavior modification treatment to 24 children with ADHD via reward and response cost programs. Collaborated with supervisor to modify individual treatment plans and produce positive behavioral changes. Administered weekly surveys with children to determine peer relationship improvements and deficiencies. Trained children daily to use proper social and sports skills in order to have better adult and peer interactions. Performed daily data management vital to making accurate recommendations for the children's future treatments and continue intervention improvements.

Recruited subjects to participate in the Interracial Dialogue study. Researched the interactions of ethnically diverse students by facilitating interracial group discussions. Analyzed and organized research data via data entry and successfully presented results at The 2006 UM-UROP Convention.
