The journey started in the year 2009. I’m very much grateful to my company (CESC Limited) who offered me to work both at Generation and Distribution division and helped me to face challenges. My career has taught me that FAILURE is not the ULTIMATE, it is actually the SPIRIT that helps us to CONTINUE to achieve SUCCESS, does counts.The first phase of my career gave me an opportunity to work at E&I department at a 3*250MW thermal power plant (BBGS, CESC Limited).I have learnt how to communicate with plant and equipment. Machine does speak.I have learnt how to nurture my team, how to lead my team.I have learnt how to deal with internal consumers. I got chance to work with almost all plant and equipment in a generating station including LT and HT drives, PLC equipped plant and other state-of-the-art equipment.I learnt how to program preventive and breakdown maintenance so as to reduce plant outage.Fault finding was the main objective to reduce the down time.This first phase of my career was mainly technical centric.The second phase of my career showed me the other side of the coin. This time I got a chance to work with LT distribution network. Journey started with Loss Control Cell, at Distribution division at CESC Limited in the year 2018.This time I learnt something different, pilferage finding.I learnt how to analysis loss prone pockets and other scattered pilferages.Legal actions required to reduce these losses is involved a lot, in my day to day activities.I gained knowledge how to reduce loss of electricity by project activities including network reorganization.Apart from the technical knowhow, this time I learnt to communicate with external consumers apart from internal consumers.I learnt to hold my nerves while handling aggressive mobs and bring my justified output.This time I got a chance to know PEOPLE in a broader sense.Overall I am loving my career growth and am looking forward to learn new and other unknown technologies and several other unknown facts of life. Taking challenges is painful, but the outcome of facing these challenges does pays.We can know more about each other if time allows us to work together someday. Have a nice day.
