• Designed and built a data processing pipeline from scratch which handles the telemetry data collected using openTelemetry agents. The pipeline is capable of processing all types of telemetry data (metrics, logs, traces) and is designed in a flexible fashion for future extensibility. It is capable of handling a few million requests per minute.• Lead one of the services from the design phase till delivery. Took part in the design phase of multiple other services and built them from scratch.

• Contributed towards the implementation of the generic multi-layered caching tool.• Re-engineered the legacy distributed ingestion service to add the capability of picking the configurations dynamically which saved the need to restart the service for each config change.• Refactored the existing legacy ingestion services to be more resilient by converting the sync calls to async fashion using completable future while making calls to databases.• Authored code fixes and enhancements on other ongoing projects for inclusion in future code releases and patches.• Investigated and solved several production issues.• Technologies and Tools: Java, Kafka, Kubernetes, Helm, Guice, gRPC, Antlr, Redis, RocksDB, Jexl, RxJava, log4j2, Avro.

• Mentored by Prof. Vineet Gandhi• Shape and Pose estimation from a single image: Worked on generating a human shape model in 3D using a single image. Built a data-driven method that calculates the pose deformation matrices based on the skeleton rotation from the template skeleton pose. Shape deformation is calculated by applying a CNN model to the silhouette of the given image.• 3D Human Reconstruction: Worked on constructing the 3D Human model from the image and depth data collected by multiple Kinects. Primarily focused on self-calibration of each Kinect and calibration between multiple kinects.
