I lead Product for Labs, Foursquare's internal incubation team.Our mission is to push the boundaries of location-based technology. We work on R&D projects, prototypes, and ship products that aim to fundamentally change how people think about experiences in the physical world. This team is responsible for shaping the the future of the company’s product offerings by exploring what can be built through our deep understanding of how people move through the world.

I lead the team that builds Swarm. • Product lead for the Swarm mobile app on all platforms – I lead an interdisciplinary team of 25 designers, engineers, researchers, analysts, and copywriters to invent the future of discovering the world by checking in• Spearheaded the launches of Swarm 5.0 and 6.0, the most significant redesign and feature launches for the app since its original launch. Specifically set the strategic vision and led the team through prototyping, design, research, development, release, and experimentation phases • Regularly collaborate with the executive leadership and founders to determine long-term product strategy for both Swarm and the broader consumer app and data ecosystem for the company• Work with marketing and PR to amplify product launches, build brand awareness, and represent Foursquare and Swarm through public speaking opportunities

• Drove the roadmap and Microsoft apps integration initiative for Outlook iOS/Android; specifically drove feature integration efforts with Skype, Office, OneNote, and OneDrive• Designed UX and wrote specs for Outlook iOS/Android features targeted towards enterprise customers, which helped grow the user base to over 40 million following the Acompli and Sunrise acquisitions• Launched @mentions for consumer and enterprise email, part of an Office-wide initiative for seamless collaboration tools; specifically led UX design and development for it across native Outlook clients • Partnered with Microsoft Research and incubation teams to experiment with, prototype, and productize new tools for email based on natural language processing

• Lead PM on the OneNote Clipper 2.0 release, with responsibilities including UI design, engineering crew management and growth hacking efforts. Launch resulted in 3x growth in daily usage and 5x growth in MAU• Lead PM on OneNote for Apple Watch, responsible for app design, technical investigation, and marketing• Designed UI, wrote feature specs, and drove engineering crews for a variety of areas on OneNote for iOS and Mac, including iOS extensions, note creation UI, embedded files, sharing & collaboration, and identity• Designed a framework for notifying users about new features added to apps (What’s New). Framework has been adopted by OneNote, Office for iOS, and OneDrive, and drives 7+ million monthly views• Created an in-app rating prompt system to drive up App Store ratings, which was adopted by OneNote and all Office for iOS apps. Average ratings for all apps rose from 3 to a minimum of 4.5 stars• Drove user feedback reporting & analysis for OneNote and Office for iOS apps, and programmed a system to fetch, filter, and categorize user feedback on the iOS and Mac App Stores

- Manage VMWare servers and Windows 2008 servers with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory- Assist production of Berkeley’s alumni website using Drupal CMS- Coordinate and execute software and hardware upgrades across multiple employer sites

- Designed user interface for new internal developer tool to be used by developers and testers across the Microsoft Office division- Led technical investigation and composed spec to update the runtime engine of primary test automation framework in Microsoft Office for unit test execution in Windows 8 Immersive environment- Presented project designs to higher management at multiple core design reviews

- Wrote user interface test automation scripts for QuickBooks iPad application in JavaScript and Objective-Cunit tests- Contributed code to the Intuit Mobile Automation Toolkit (IMAT), an open-source test automation frameworkfor iOS- Designed and implemented a continuous integration build system using Hudson CI to parallelize testing andreduce time to market
