I am working at GE John F Welch Technology Center - Bangalore in Engineering Tools Centre of Excellence team. This is my first job and have more than ten years of experience in thermal analysis and building engineering design tools for Aircraft Engines and Gas Turbines. I develop analysis tools for system level design of Gas Turbines. Earlier worked for six years in "Heat Transfer and Fluid System Design" group of GE Aircraft Engines.I have post graduation (M. Tech) completed in Thermal and Mechanical Engineering from IIT Chennai (India) in Jan-1999 with 8.9 CGPA. I have Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Punjabi University (India) during May-1997 and secured 74% aggregate marksMy current job responsibilities include building analysis specific tools in 1D, 2D, 3D geometries during conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs of aircraft engines and gas turbines. It also includes both system level and component level model building tasks. I am responsible to define/lead heat transfer projects and the tasks include ownership/accountability of all heat transfer projects through SDLC rigors like design documents, action plan, deliverables, tool releases and deploymentSpecialties: I have received one ERD 2009, 4 "Management Award" and numerous "HATS OFF" awards for numerous projects, which demonstrated outstanding contributions to GE values and Engineering Analysis techniques.
