Bridge Academy seeks to prepare youth coming out of homelessness to become college students.

Building a bot to converse with students, helping them answer questions about a shared image. The image grounds the interactions, which can be referenced by both the student and the model. The model can use dialogue to determine student understanding or identify misconceptions by asking the student for more detailed explanations while referencing the image. Use Natural Language Processing to create an automated tutoring system for foreign language.

Worked on Facebook Ads org, building an intern tool for tracking the lineage of user data in Facebook Ads. Created prediction models to make suggestions for where the user data is coming from. The predictions models included rules-based, gradient tree decision ML, and lineage models. This project required building data swarm pipelines, creating prediction models including boosted gradient tree decision ML and rules-based models, and made a UI component to streamline the process of tracking signal source information. Used the following programming language: Python, Hack (like PHP), and SQL

The Project team create interactive data visualizing web applications that addressed campus and city-wide issues and events. We scrape and parse data from online sources using Python, with design and implementation done through Adobe Illustrator, JavaScript, and d3.

Facilitated two weekly tutoring sections covering Python programming and statistical tools. Tutored 30+ students on course material in labs/OH and graded 90+ problems weekly. Foundations of Data Science combines three perspectives: inferential thinking, computational thinking, and real-world relevance. The course teaches critical concepts and skills in computer programming and statistical inference, in conjunction with hands-on analysis of real-world datasets, including economic data, document collections, geographical data, and social networks. It delves into social issues surrounding data analysis such as privacy and design.
