About Avraham Goldstein

During the last two years of the Undergraduate studies and during the first two years of the Ph.D. program my interest was in Complex Dynamics. My Ph.D. work is in Algebraic Topology with a strong emphasis on Algebra [including certain computational results]. After completing my Ph.D. I have worked in Algorithms and Complexity developing new Algorithms and solving open problems related to Bioinformatics. I have done some work in Computational Graph Theory related to constructing Trees. Also, I have successfully worked on developing and implementing Mathematical Models for Bioinformatics. After that I have worked on Complex Dynamics with a strong emphasis on Topological properties of certain objects related to Complex Dynamical Systems. In parallel I have developed and implemented Algorithms for Textual Analysis and Picture Analysis [including pattern recognition] for private companies.Specialties: Developing Algorithms, Constructing Mathematical Models
