About Avram Bingham

I am a 3rd year Mechanical Engineering Student at the University of Texas at Dallas. Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to participate in a number of academic and organizational projects that have enriched my skills as an engineer. These projects have included a vertical axis wind turbine, a set of insert-able bus steps for handicapped users, and a study on stress concentration in 3D printed materials. In addition to these projects, I have served as the Research Director for UTD's chapter of AIAA. As the director, I have created and managed over 6 independent research projects, overseeing a total 30 undergraduate and graduate engineers. This position has given me the opportunity to develop relationships with my university faculty, network with industry professionals, and develop myself as a leader.With all of this experience, I am excited to find a role for myself in the Mechanical Engineering industry. I am currently looking for an internship position for Summer 2025.
