In my role as Consultant:I oversee overall aspects from conception to completion while ensuring operations are carried out with best practices and in accordance with program and all relevant company standards. I deliver production engineering services including design review, cost and payback calculations, pressure vessel, and renewable energy feasibility analysis. I conduct Utility rate schedule analysis, including working with large datasets to provide targeted results that are meaningful to customers.Some of my key accomplishments are:• Enabled clients to navigate fire and planning department approval for new manufacturing processes, including drafting detailed drawings for equipment, providing a project narrative for entire process to add to submittal package, researching safety requirements and detailed calculations.• Successfully developed and employed CAD documentation for patent application. These drawings were used to procure funding and get prototype parts built.

In my past role:I designed and implemented a pilot production line for the battery assembly module in a fast-paced environment. I provided systematic feedback on battery integration and continuous design improvement. I drafted and modified 2D and 3D CAD drawings for battery manufacturing. I also ensured product meet and exceed company’s goals for quality and reliability by collaborating with vendors.Following were key accomplishments that I attained:• Spearheaded team to produce first 100 battery modules from a prototype assembly line.• Bill of Materials review for DFM, including parts reductions and cost savings measures.• Detailed Adhesives Research, including materials testing and failure analysis.• Wire harness development, including cost reduction and vendor management.

While Working as Senior Test Engineer (Battery):I led prototype battery design, assembly and testing for a copper/zinc battery with an aqueous electrolyte. I delivered 2D drawings for vendors based on conceptual 3D images used in prototype designs. I maintained, repaired and installed battery cycling equipment to increase testing capabilities in the lab. I executed laboratory electrical services while upgrading power conditioning equipment, environmental chambers, chillers, compressed air and UPS for safety, productivity and reliability. I developed improvements for daily R&D operations including design and build of stations to increase technician productivity and safety. I conducted data analysis including round trip efficiency and cycling performance to document improvement. I also generated bill of material documentation for cost reduction and estimated impacts of scale.Key Contributions:• Produced design documentation, collaborated with vendors to supply components, reduced cost and enhanced productivity by increasing reliability and improving equipment.• Successfully established and executed testing equipment and electroplating equipment for R&D.• Set up and ran battery cycling equipment including analyzing results and calculating cycle efficiencies.

Working as Project Engineer:I oversaw inspection team regarding rebate programs including SGIP, CSI and CSI Thermal. Led due diligence energy savings analysis for California ratepayer incentive programs and delivered performance metrics to clients for contracts exceeding $150,000 per month. I collaborated with other departments in order to vet employee performance, developed agreements with clients and research and negotiate with third party contractors in order to bring project into fruition. I identified the need for performance improvement and conducted effective training programs and project distribution that improved overall efficiency.Key Contributions:• Reduced inspection costs from $2,000 to $350 per inspection while allowing for a workload increase of 20 to more than 150 inspections per month.• Developed and implemented pass and fail criteria and inspection protocol for high volume DER site visits.
