- Planned and implemented entire Apple Maps Client Performance infrastructure for iOS, WatchOS, CarPlay and MacOS- Brought up Maps client performance from a handful of devices manually tested with stopwatches to a fully automated lab environment capable of testing daily builds across hundreds of devices simultaneously- Brought up and maintained an Elasticsearch and Kibana cluster to collect performance test results from millions of iterations and created visualizations and dashboards for reporting- Created and led tiger teams across multiple feature teams when certain releases were at risk of missing their performance goals which led to a vast improvement in speed of finding and resolving performance issues- Created automated daily email reports with alerts customized for each feature team reporting on the status of their feature's performance- Worked with the build team to create a continuous integration system that included performance evaluation as part of the check-in process- Met with every feature team before every major release to discuss new features and how to evaluate their performance. - Designed and implemented a configuration auto-update feature for the Build Lab Workflow system saving Windows Phone Organization 40 man months over the past year alone compared to the previous manual process which required two weeks of downtime per upgrade.- Re-architected code signing workflow in Build and Release system from a static manually maintained list of files to a dynamically generated process uncovering more bugs earlier in the release cycle.- Designed and implemented features in the Windows Phone 7 build system enabling reliable incremental builds reducing build times for all developers by around 90%.- Gave multiple 300 person training sessions on new build system features to ensure the division utilized the implemented features and benefitted from the build time improvements.- Proactively ensured seamless integration of new build features in other teams' branches by enlisting in them and preemptively fixing conflicts. The result was a check-in of over 24,000 files with all branches successfully building and operating the following morning.
