Appointed to rectify reporting irregularities by SARB auditors. Within 18 months the bank received a clean audit report. This process required:• improvement of inefficiencies • Re-implementation of an automated system • The housing in one domain of management accounts and regulatory reports • Realized efficiency benefits for both the Management Accounts and Regulatory Reporting teams;• Represented RMB at the BA Task Committee, which was a joint committee of Banks, Banking Council, SAICA and SARB to create more efficiency in reporting for Banks.

Group Share Capital Manager; Group Managements Accounts Manager; Group Regulatory Reports Manager; Group Financial Accountant.1991 to 2004Managed staff output and optimised a variety of functions that were responsible for the following:• Implementing automated Reserve Bank Reporting system to ensure that the function operated more effectively;• Implementing Group Chart of Accounts – incorporating different jurisdictions and accounting policies;• Assisted CFO of Investment Banking division with the booking of deals; • Provided support on all financial transactions relating to purchasing of new companies in the Investec Group; • Preparation of Financials for listed entities; • Implemented and maintained oversight and integrity of Financial databases for all reporting in Finance;• Designed and implemented the Group Budget Process;• Year-End Reporting, Group Listings and Annual Reports;• Presentation of Budgets to Group Executive;• Designed and completed various rating agency packs for local and international rating agencies;• Worked with the Rating agencies to assist them with the understanding of the financials;• Responsible for Group Management Accounts to Board and Group Executive;• Started the TOPP programme (Training outside the Public Practice), which was a new programme offering commercial training of newly qualified CAs at Investec. Was invited to SAICA to sit on the decision committee for outlining training required for newly qualified CAs to do commercial CA's rather than doing Auditing Articles. It was launched by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) in 1997.
