I am currently handling the global Network Management environment for Volvo. I work for the Product Management and Maintenance team and currently working on design and implementation of fault management, performance management, configuration management and security management application/tools namely Netcool ITNM, Probes, TIP, TCR and Cisco ACS.I act as a mentor to the operations team and I am responsible for the one time and run time activates in the Network Management domain and product life cycle management.In this role I have to administer lot of network monitoring application/tools and deliver network monitoring which is in line with ITIL FCAPS framework.

My Job responsibility involves, monitoring the network/security events and informing about suspicious event to the client, Continuous study of the events and sending daily and weekly analysis report to the client. Responsible for remote monitoring and performing change management and configuration management for Firewalls , VPN , Authentication, Authorization & Accounting, Content Security and Policy Enforcement, Vulnerability Assessment, Security Management. For local KPIT, my job responsibility involves, link monitoring using MRTG and RRD tools, VPN configuration and management, VLAN change management and firewall (Checkpoint NG 55) change management and administration of Nagios (Network Monitoring Tool).
