My main role includes managing a team of talented service/commissioning technicians to bring projects to a successful close and to maintain our customer's technology for years to come. Being in a smaller company requires each of us to sometimes wear multiple hats. One day I could be in the field doing high-level service and commissioning, the next I am engineering a sales quote for technology upgrades. I also develop technical documents, run financial reports, meet with customers for site surveys, and help to manage all technical aspects of the company with the aid of the rest of the team. I have 20 years in the AV industry and several years more in CCTV, technical manufacturing, engineering, and sales. Starting as a rough wire technician and quickly working up to installation, programming, service, and finally, employee management allows for an empathic mindset for all roles in a company. Every piece of the company puzzle is essential for a complete and successful end product.
