"Design of fixture for Joint Spindle rail"Inspected and identified the cause for rejections of the part “Joint spindle rail” using Pareto Charts.Re-designed the improper fixture using AutoCAD, CATIA V5 and principles of Jigs and Fixture design.Brought down setup time by reducing 2 fixture machining process to a single one.Fool-proofed the design and eased the operators’ assembly effort and improved operator efficiency.Reduced the number of rejections drastically and increased the machine availability time.

"Thermodynamic Simulation of a 5.7lt 6 cyl Diesel Engine"* Worked on actual test bed area and collected base engine performance details.* Created 1-D model of an existing baseline in BOOST 5.0 supplied by AVL using the data from test cell.* Simulated the model and optimized the performance with the baseline model to match SFC and Power.* Up-rated the model to 135kW with identical SFC pattern like that of the baseline engine.* Used the new values in the base engine and correlated the test cell and model results.* Proved the dependability and accuracy of the created model.* Justified the accuracy of 1-D modeling in this domain of inspection-SFC and Brake Power.
