Managing an experienced team of front end developers and UX/UI designers, lead the team through a multi-year transition from custom CMS-based web development to ownership of enterprise web platforms that support university policies for branding, security and accessibility.To support university community web communications needs, we provide the Sitecore-based enterprise web platform for university flagship websites, and a WordPress-based self-service platform that provides service to thousands of sites across the university. Negotiated with vendors to provide tailored, pre-imaged, pre-configured computers for faculty and staff, as well as a student laptop program.Based on rapidly expanding needs of the college, stood up a 50TB virtualized data center, providing flexible Windows and Linux VMs, and scalable services to meet evolving demands, including: - integrated LAMP stack and IIS web development platforms- college-focused relational database, built on extracts from university data warehouse, providing administrative reports and driving interactive web application development.Led development of arts-focused computing facilities, including specialized compute labs and a networked large-format color print center, accessible college-wide. Collaborated with university IT to integrate efficiently with university network, computer and software resources.Worked with professionally celebrated designers to build 3 iterations of the College of Architecture, Design and the Arts website.Designed and built a college-wide Intranet to integrate college information, and academic and administrative processes. Developed approximately 20 integrated web applications to facilitate and coordinate activities across the college.
