I am currently retraining in a relevant field to my previous studies and experience by working towards becoming a fully qualified Electrician. This seemed like a way to further develop my skills and knowledge into an industry with steady, growing demand for workers as well as making myself better qualified for working in my previous field.Previously I was a freelance Lighting/Sound/AV technician for Live Performances e.g. theatre or concerts. I worked in the industry part time for the 2 years after I finished my degree in 2016.I started learning about Sound in Intermediate and then fell in love with Live Theatre in my first year of High School. This led me to seek out higher education and employment in the Performing Arts.I worked full time at Whoa Studios for a year and a half before going freelancing. First as a Venue Technician running Sound or Lighting for Live Puppet shows and Corporate Events; then as the Systems Manager fixing various issues that arose and implementing systems to ensure the business kept running smoothly and more efficiently over time. I also helped the FOH team run the Toy Store when they needed it. Occasionally I was required to assist the Waitstaff during the corporate events or busy lunch rush too.I worked for a Holiday Programme, babysat and managed some Data Entry for Suzy Cato through High School.
