With over 50 years a of rich professional experience, I've embarked on an ever-evolving journey, embracing new opportunities. Growing up in the vibrant lanes of Chandni Chowk, Delhi, I absorbed the values of hard work, gratitude, and faith from my parentsMy journey led me from a government school to earning a Master's degree at the prestigious Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI). I became a Principal Scientist with the Government of India, contributing to scientific research and problem-solving.Parallel to my scientific pursuits, I started my career with regional and national broadcasts, climbing the ranks to cover major international sports events. The Asian Games, Cricket World Cup, Hockey World Cup, Olympic Games, World Cup Soccer, and Commonwealth Games have been graced by my commentary. Renowned channels like Doordarshan, BBC, and ESPN have been my platforms.In my 60s, I transitioned to academia, becoming the Director of Jagannath International Management School (JIMS), affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. My approach inspired students to excel not only academically but also in sports and co-curricular activities.Beyond my professional journey, I've embraced the teachings of Sikhism, always striving to work hard, thank the divine, and share with the less privileged. The values of 'Kirat Karo, Naam Japo, and Vand Chhako' guide me.I'm also honored to represent HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light), a non-profit organization dedicated to global peace and ending war. HWPL collaborates with the UN Department of Global Communications and works to illuminate the world with heavenly culture.I've learned that challenges are tests of courage and character. With dedication, I pursued higher education, excelled in multiple careers, and continue to give back to society. I believe in learning, embracing new skills, and accepting life's path.As the Advisor of Baru Sahib Ji, I support the noble cause of the JIVO Canola Oil project, a product by Kalgidhar Trust.
