During my second summer internship with KLA, I made improvements to a program currently used by the company. The application is a utility that uses a camera to analyze a beam of light in real time. Initially, the program was unreliable and only worked on certain versions of windows. I upgraded the reliability of the application while making it functional on all windows versions. In addition to this I made much-needed changes to the UI of the program which greatly increased ease of use. My mentor, Yeun Shun, was a great help to me throughout the internship and I thank him very much for his contributions.

Division: WaferSight/ADE,Assigned to team with the goal of improving software throughput. Used Microsoft Visual Studios software to access the existing testing software, which I began to steadily improve in python. By implementing and adding features that aided the troubleshooting process of testing, I was able to improve the efficiency of the chip creation process, therefore increasing the efficiency of the company's tool. In Layman's terms, I added code to a software in order to find errors and fix them quickly.This internship was a great opportunity which helped me learn a lot about software engineering as a whole. I'd like to especially thank my supervisor, Umesh Keskar, and my manager, Mir Ali, for providing the resources and support I needed for the job.
