This role reported to GM Innovation and acting CIO, and is responsible for developing and coordinating delivery of Vicinity's Smart Buildings strategy - a program of work to document and deliver the digital transformation of asset management to a centralised operating model and seamlessly integrated, digitised and automated operational technology. This program aims to connect, centralise, optimise and automate management of 15+ shopping centre operational technologies (eg. HVAC, lighting, water, CCTV) across a portfolio of 63+ shopping centres nationwide. This is a cross-functional program of work involving the National Operations, IT and Data Science teams, and strategic partners. The focus of the role is on the development of strategies and business cases that help the business use emerging technology to solve pain-points and realise opportunities. This is supplemented with co-ordinating the delivery of related initiatives and ensuring business-wide strategic alignment.

The Commercial Manager (Wholesale Supply) role is responsible for leading and/or supporting the development, negotiation and management of customer deals related to the supply of nbn’s products and services. This includes employing excellent stakeholder management, technical and legal skills to develop and negotiate terms under which nbn supplies access technologies to our customers (RSPs). Internally, this also includes advising stakeholders on interpreting, changing and implementing contractual obligations.Key achievements include the timely contractual delivery of the nbn Business Premium Appointments product and a number of trials, including nbn Enterprise Ethernet and Business Grade Workforce. All were delivered to customers with minimal adverse feedback, and to unprecedentedly tight timeframes.

This role developed and refined nbn’s migration and disconnection strategies (incl. safety-critical services) and ensured alignment with nbn’s corporate strategy. Noteworthy achievements include the development of nbn's fire & lift industry copper disconnection strategy (approx. 300,000 active services) and strategic design of nbn's Unmonitored Medical Alarm Upgrade Offer. In this role, I was also responsible for engagement with internal and external decision-making bodies (e.g. Dept of Comms & Arts) and stakeholders (e.g. industry engagement) to develop policies for safe end-user migration. In this capacity, I helped write and develop DoCA's Migration Assurance Framework (FTTx, HFC) and the Fire & Lift Industry Good Practice Guide. These were the first and only externally documented and agreed migration policies of their kind and helped ensure the safe and smooth migration of '000,000s of safety-critical services.
