Resilio offers on-prem/cloud data sync solutions for large enterprises. I led marketing, including demand generation, partner and channel marketing, email marketing, PR/analyst relations, social, and oversaw design and product marketing/content.

Issuu is a digital content marketing and publishing platform. I led brand communications, content marketing, public relations, and website design/development. My biggest achievement was driving a brand and website modernization effort that transformed our image from an outdated magazine flipbook maker to a popular and modern SaaS martech solution.

Versal was an edtech/eLearning startup, acquired in 2020. As Employee #1, I worked with the founding team at Versal to build the company over eight years from company start to product launch to growth, to acquisition by a large technology company. I led all marketing, reporting to the CEO. During my tenure I designed the strategic GTM initiatives, drove demand gen/growth marketing, SEO content, events, product marketing, and communications/PR. I built a data-driven highly-automated tech stack etc. - all to achieve widespread industry awareness and acquire new customers efficiently. Also led Product Management for three years. In the last two years, entered a new market (corporate learning) and achieved 300% revenue growth.

BitTorrent was a file sharing and data center technology company, acquired in 2018. I rebuilt the company's marketing and communications efforts as we rocketshipped from 60 million to over 150M active monthly users. Much of my work at BitTorrent was focused on two areas: fresh modern website design and optimization to increase conversions and build credibility, and brand rehabilitation via media relations, helping to open the doors to building relationships with reporters despite a difficult brand image due to the history of peer-to-peer file sharing.

SugarSync was a B2B SaaS data sync startup, acquired by Ziff Davis in 2015. I was responsible for rebuilding the company's corporate marketing program following a complete management turnover including brand, PR/crisis communications, email marketing, website marketing, events and promotions.

I was responsible for the global communications program, including brand messaging, media relations, earnings and acquisitions PR, partner PR, and domestic/international team and agency oversight. Previously ran communications and PR for the Zone Labs division (ZoneAlarm firewall).

SonicWall is a network security hardware and software company acquired by Dell in 2012. I ran the public relations, social media, and product reviews programs.

SmartPipes was a Kliener Perkins-backed network security/VPN startup acquired by Sophos. I led a successful public relations and corporate communications program, launching the company from stealth mode with high-profile business press coverage including print features in Fortune. Forbes, Wall Street Journal and more plus securing ongoing coverage.
