Worked on School Information System (SIS) and Education Hotline - web and app based digital platforms aimed at digitizing school's data and managing citizens complaints respectively. Work includes contribution to the following key areas:• Led cross-functioning team to design and implement data collection framework across 36 districts using tablets. Initiated work on the idea of centralized database, and developed customized SQL queries to connect data with the predictive modeling and visualization pipeline.• Designed predictive model using Python to better understand factors leading to student's drop-out and capture real-time occurrence of drop-out. The model helped curtail student’s drop-out rate and retention cost in selected districts by 10 percent – model encompassed 11.4 million students in 50,000 schools taught by over 400,000 teachers• Launched feedback mechanism to aid policy makers with real time and informed decision making. This included integrated dashboards on key performance metrics and smart SMS-alerts linked to performance on sensitive indicators• Co-designed system architecture for citizens complaint & feedback platform that involved assignment of 71 complaint categories to over 10,000 resolving officials. The platform also included end-to-end complaint tracking and resolution mechanism• Introduced robo-calls to ensure integrity of self-reported data, leading to the correction of 15% of the reported data

Lead the reform initiatives for one of the world’s largest ever donor funded education program (PESP-II) as part of delivery team put together by McKinsey & Co. and Adam Smith International:• Analysed multiple streams of financial data to optimize allocation of resources across multiple functions, improve budget utilization and support strategic initiatives of client using data-driven tools. This initiative improved budget utilization from 80% to approximately 85% • Co-developed, piloted and implemented Education Human Resource Information System (EHRMIS), a web-based portal intended to digitize the human resource function of client. The platform mechanized transfers, postings, promotions and retirements for over 400,000 officials. • Devised performance metrics to measure education quality and budget utilization. This led to the deployment of dashboards to enhance performance visibility and ensure timely action by the department heads• Trained district officials by providing technical assistance on key performance tools for effective service delivery and enhanced capacity
