About Andrew Washburn

I was raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and graduated from Virginia Tech in 1997 with a degree in History. Before becoming a Realtor®, I worked in public history, constitutional education, and land conservation. During my 20-year non-profit career I gained extensive experience in marketing, contract negotiation, sales, customer service and problem-solving.I have been focused on serving others throughout my professional career. Whether running a summer institute for teachers of the Constitution, managing rental events for high-profile clients, or greeting visitors at Montpelier or the Alexander Black House - I have always put the needs of my client first. As a Realtor®, I am excited to utilize the skills I've developed in the non-profit world to help people find their dream home, and to get the greatest return when it’s time to sell. When I'm not busy helping my clients in the New River Valley, I enjoy hiking the Appalachian Trail, listening to live music at one of our great local breweries, or working in my other profession: Soccer Dad®.

Listed skills include Customer Service, Marketing, Problem Solving, Sales, and 7 others.
