In my capacity as the Vice-President of Student Affairs (VPSA) for the Engineering Society at Queen's University, I worked closely with the President and Vice-President (Operations) to steer the organization's overall strategy. My responsibilities also extended to managing an annual budget of over $2.3 million, functioning as a vital member of the society's executive team and upper management.Managed and oversaw a team of directors responsible for communications, clubs and conferences, design, events, first year, governance, and human resources. Also supervised 4 year executives and all hiring for the Engineering Society of Queen's University, an organization comprising over 2250 student volunteers and employees.Streamlined organizational structure by expanding to 4 Executives and 16 Directors, from 3 and 15 respectively. Achieved this by revising key governance documents, including bylaws and HR policies, to foster future growth.Oversaw the initiation of a comprehensive rebranding strategy for the society, laying the groundwork for a refreshed and modern organizational identity.In my role, I served on the Advisory Board for the Society's seven services and two corporate initiatives, while participating on the Faculty Board, Alma Matter Society Assembly, and serving as Director on ESARCK. I was also involved in the FEAS Operations Committee, Year Caucus, and Bursary Committee. Concurrently, I assumed the responsibilities of an information officer, ensuring compliance with FIPPA legislation and the Privacy Policy, particularly in the management of personal information collection, use, retention, and disposal.

Managed financial liaison activities between the Engineering Society's Bank and over twenty affiliated groups, overseeing reimbursement and disbursement validation and approvals. Also contributed to financial projects aimed at enhancing future organizational sustainability.

Worked as an Upper-year Student Support for Queen's Residence Life and Housing, assisting first-year students in personal, academic, and emergency situations. Mediated disputes, provided referrals, and facilitated community development. Maintained safety and upheld residence policies through front-line intervention, reporting, and a rotational on-call system.
