Dr. James J. Awbrey, an Atlanta native, is passionate about creating healthy smiles and being a part of bettering the lives of his patients.“Most of all, I love watching a happy patient light up with a beautiful smile we have created. There is nothing more gratifying and that’s a reward I have never taken for granted.”Dr. Awbrey attended Auburn University as an undergraduate. He then attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine for a year but transferred to the UAB School of Dentistry a year later, as he was inspired by his father, a pediatric dentist. He earned his doctorate degree and went on to complete his orthodontic residency at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and received his specialty degree.Dr. Awbrey is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, and Southern Association of Orthodontics, among other organizations.
