One of seventeen members appointed by Governor Kasich with the advice and consent of the Ohio Senate. Appointed to a three-year term through January 2021. The advisory board shall assist the Ohio History Connection with its site preservation program, suggest legislation necessary to the Ohio history connection's preservation program including the location, designation, restoration, preservation, and maintenance of state historic and archaeological sites and artifacts, and shall encourage the designation of suitable sites on the national register of historic places and under related federal programs. The advisory board shall provide general advice, guidance, and professional recommendations to the state historic preservation officer in conducting the comprehensive statewide survey, preparing the state historic preservation plan, and carrying out the other duties and responsibilities of the state historic preservation office. Members of the advisory board shall serve without compensation.

Graduate Teaching Associate Introductory City & Regional Planning Course (CRPLAN 2110) for 42 undergraduate students (Autumn 2016). 2015-2016 ACADEMIC YEARGraduate Teaching Associate worked in collaboration with faculty to teach 34 students; first, to understand various components of public participation. And second, guided them to form teams, and develop 10 different methods of public participation (applying their understanding of public participation processes) to a real world project in Central Ohio, related to technology and food insecurity (Spring 2016). Graduate Teaching Associate managed 14 senior students to lead them to the development of a comprehensive economic development plan for a city in Northern Ohio (Autumn 2014). 2014-2015 ACADEMIC YEARGraduate Administrative Associate working with the City & Regional Planning Section Head with the project management involved with the accreditation of the Knowlton School's Undergraduate City & Regional Planning degree program. Also, worked to market and promote courses within the program. Graduate Research Associate assisting with research on Eco-System Service Markets throughout the Ohio River Basin area. Assisted with conducting interviews in stakeholder interviews. From October 2012 - June 2013, I served as the Treasurer of the Youth Commission.During my time as the Co-President of NCAI's Youth Commission, I was one of a team of ten on the Commission to represent the 2.184 million AI/ANs aged 25 and under. It is the Commission's duty to advise the senior leadership at NCAI on issues related to the youth. Additionally, I was responsible for coordinating the Commission's monthly conference calls, approving the sessions for the Commission's meetings at our three annual in-person meetings, continuously stay aware of the issues regarding AI/AN youth across the United States; and, I served (and still serve in some cases) on the following committees/sub-committees/task forces: My Brother’s Keeper Task Force, Native Financial Education Coalition Advisory Committee, National Native Youth Cabinet, Native Youth Resilience Task Force, Technology and Telecommunications Task Force. In November 2013, I was invited to attend President Obama's 5th Annual White House Tribal Leaders Summit. This was one of my personal highlights during the time I spent serving Indian Country on the Commission.

Planning, Evaluation, Education and Research (PEER) TeamProjects I contributed to:- Analyzing community readiness assessment interviews conducted as part of the research involved with the Project LAUNCH (Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children's Health) grant, for Appalachian Ohio, that the PEER Team is administering.- Assisted in facilitating key stakeholders meeting in the analysis of The Columbus Foundation's multi-year investment in the implementation of The Ohio Benefit Bank by the Ohio Association of Food Banks. Additionally, I conducted interviews and assisted Senior Research staff on drafting and producing the final report.- Assisted in the key stakeholders meeting for the Wayne National Forest community collaboration project. - Assisted Senior Research Staff in the Trinity Hospital Twin City strategic planning session.- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, SPSS, MAXQDA, transcription software.
