-Build servers 24x5 (Monday through Friday – CT) for GEHC customer requests, infrastructure needs, hardware refreshes, and application upgrades. -Utilize processes or defined process, incorporated via the change control process, to engage all the needed infrastructure teams to complete the preparation for building an OS (i.e.: Facilities Racking, Network IP and Port assignments, Backups, and Monitoring). All processes will reside in the Governance Portal. -Complete a post build work instruction pertaining to any configuration needs or application installs outside of the GEHC provided scripts. The template will reside in the Governance Portal. -Execute projects from multiple teams, as assigned and mutually agreed.-Assist GEHC designated OS patching team with monthly OS patching cycle-Optimize infrastructure: Whenever possible, utilize the GEHC’s provided tools and CompuCom skilled resources to identify areas of optimization within the in-scope environment (“service gaps”) and recommend remediation measure for GEHC’s approval.-Plan, coordinate, and test disaster recovery plan in collaboration with GEHC resources for GEHC HTS customers who require these products-Create HP Blade profiles for HTS related blade servers to match the GEHC provided design specifications-Update and maintain build process documentation and maintain version control of the documentation.-Craft and execute Change Controls within the GE change management system, which will reside in the Governance Portal. -Provide cross team training within the CompuCom resource team.-Design and execute VMware ESX Farm Builds and upgrades per HTS architecture design utilizing change order process. -Perform capacity planning and monitoring for the HTS IT Infrastructure.-Generate firewall requests and AD group requests for the HTS IT Infrastructure.-Provide resources to build Microsoft clustering
