Joining the Ottawa-Main branch of RBC Dominion Securities as an Associate, I work closely with an Investment Advising team to help clients make informed decisions about their wealth and guide them toward their ideal financial future. My responsibilities include handling account administration, executing trades, maintaining records, and managing day-to-day client communication.My passion for numbers, educating others, and fostering relationships made the financial industry a natural fit. Prior to joining Dominion Securities, I’d spent one and a half years as a Banking Advisor for a leading financial institution, honing my problem-solving and client service skills. My ability to explain complex concepts straightforwardly comes from two years of teaching high school mathematics in Texas.Dedicated to each client’s success, I enjoy assisting clients in any way I can, often going the extra mile to answer a question or find a solution. Building upon my experience, I’ve completed industry coursework, including the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH). I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, specializing in Professional Education, from Angelo State University in Texas.When not helping clients, I spend quality time with my partner, NixieRose, and our Australian Shepherd, Burt. We enjoy long evening walks, weekend around the city, and camping in beautiful Ontario parks. A former track and field athlete, I’ve competed with the Ottawa Lions and represented my alma mater at the NCAA Division II collegiate level – and my passion for running continues.
