During my first year at Sand Point School, I was the only mathematics instructor for the Secondary School. Our test scores in mathematics rose from below the 30th percentile in achievement to slightly above 50th percentile.

• Authored an engineering curriculum adapting content from Unified Engineering via MIT's OpenCourseWare initiative. • Instructed students on the entrepreneurial process, intellectual property development, project management (Agile, waterfall, and hybrid), contracts, contract modifications, and technical business communication. Technical instruction included the fundamentals of rocket science, engineering, programming, IoT devices, microcontrollers, and systems engineering.• Instructed at-grade and below-grade Chemistry students with a focus on problem-solving, applied math and science.

• Taught multiple sections each semester of STEM classes to students internationally.• Developed curricula including a variety of delivery methods and project-based learning modalities.• A majority of the students served were "twice exceptional."• Duties included lecture, video design, project design, grading various homework types, one-on-one tutoring, and parent conferences.

• Instructed and developed curricula and programs for various classes at the Pensacola MESS Hall, a 501c3 STEM educational organization.• Classes included Robotics, Computer Programming, Advanced Algorithm Development for gifted children, Introduction to Engineering, Core Science for Middle School, and Core Science for Elementary-Aged Homeschoolers.• Developed evening programs for middle and high school-aged students on topics including engineering and quantum mechanics.• Assisted museum patrons in accessing and understanding the interactive portions of the museum.• Launched and supported a Makerspace. • Co-founded Glenelg Analytics, Inc.• Authored patent applications and customer proposals regarding the recovery of highly-energetic materials from solid waste streams such as post-consumer solid waste. • Served the co-founders as CEO/Product Manager.

• Served as the L-3 Communications Fellow for this international program linking MIT, Stanford, and the London School of Economics. • Collaborated on 3 continents with the Sloan Fellows cohort regarding organizational and technical innovation. • Directly consulted for the DC office of the World Wildlife Fund on organizational change and system dynamics.

• Program Manager for Sustaining Engineering for Automated Checked Baggage Systems—the largest installed base of automated checked baggage x-ray inspection equipment in the world.• New Product Development Manager under the Program Management Office (PMO) for internationally certified baggage inspection equipment.• Customer Relations Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

• Managed intellectual property for my division of PerkinElmer including support of outside counsel during patent prosecution, and litigation. • Vetted Intellectual Property for acquisition. post-9/11 screening technologies.• Lead Industrial Imaging Product Development including technical project management, market research, and customer and partner development.
