I began at Peru State five years ago with no clear idea of what I wanted for the future. Peru State allowed me to get a wide range of information before I focused on the History Department. My classes have provided both a wide and specific look at the countries of the world and the world as a whole. Learning about multiple countries' histories has provided me with the skill to understand the present as well as infer the possibilities of the future. I have also learned both how to write and how to edit. Spending so much time with books, biographies, documents, diaries, etc has improved my language skills. My class experiences and my time working at the front desk of the school's library has put me in the perfect spot to work in academic offices.
