Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing a long-range strategic plan for the Township, establishing a tax rate, approving year capital budget, ensuring revenues are spent efficiently, adopting ordinances and resolutions to protect the welfare of the residents, awarding contracts, and speaking on behalf of the Township at local events.

Summary: The Climate Coach will (a) lead the effort to build and maintain a strong, positive achievement-oriented school culture that nurtures, inspires, and empowers students to become successful adults with 21st century skills; (b) work closely with teachers, students, and parents to provide positive behavior supports and interventions; and (c) develop, enhance, and provide technical support for the implementation of a school- wide PBIS framework.• Support the implementation of a Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) framework at a designated school in the Norristown Area School District (NASD)• Work closely with five (5) other Climate Coaches at other designated schools to ensure consistent district-wide implementation• Oversee implementation and provide professional development for evidence-based practices to improve school climate, such as Too Good for Drugs and Violence (TGFD&V), Check In Check Out (CICO), social-emotional learning (SEL), restorative justice, and/or trauma-informed interventions• Track, review, and analyze student behavioral data including discipline referrals and suspensions to identify interventions for at-risk students• Implement school climate surveys, including Effective Behavior Support (EBS), School-wide Evaluation Tool (SET), Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI), and Team Initiated Problem Solving Fidelity Checklist (TIPS-FC)• Work closely with external evaluator on program evaluation activities• Provide direct coaching and counseling services (social skills groups) to Tier II andTier III students• Maintain accurate documentation of service objectives and outcomes as well asother services in accordance with School Climate Transformation Grant guidelines• Attend District PBIS Team meetings, Building Taskforce Team meetings, and StudentLeadership Team meetings• Participate in regional, statewide and national PBIS conferences and meetings

- Implement strategies to build and maintain programs for the organization.- Recruit expert professionals from partnering organizations to run programs and increaseyouth skills.- Facilitate vocational workshops, presentations, or other educational events.- Communicate with team leads, committee, and board to ensure the program meets alldeadlines.- Schedule meetings to update important stakeholders in the progress of the program Iimplement.- Develop gun violence intervention with collaborating partners- Promoting student engagement and conflict resolution within the community byfacilitating restorative circles.- Monitoring student incidents and attendance using systems such as ESchool and InfiniteCampus.- Resolving conflicts and mediating agreements between parties to achieve resolutions thatare mutually beneficial and clear up any misunderstandings.- Initiating, fostering, and nurturing positive relationships with students, parents, guardians,staff, and community partners.- Conducting and leading professional development sessions with colleagues on schoolexpectations, de-escalation techniques, and problem-solving.

Summon the emergency medical services and report in details.Patrol campus buildings, grounds and roadways by foot, by bicycle and by vehicle.Educate students in proper, responsible behavior when appropriate direction is warranted and needed.
