Developed software for the Attune NxT, a flow cytometer.New features included:* Save, import, and export of experiments as templates to allow customers to easily recreate and share experiments and settings. Worked with database functions in PostgreSQL, database API in C++, and template information in XML.* Pause/resume feature during cytometer data acquisition, allowing customers to make adjustments mid-experiment. Developed to an API, providing compatibility with third party automation software.* Error handling within client program, written in C#, which communicates between cytometer software and third party automation software. * Validation of user input, including rollback to last known good value and notification as to why user input was rejected.Work also included:* Defensive code and bug fixes related to crashes reported by customers or field service technicians.* Unit tests for new and existing functionality, which at times required refactoring existing code to create interfaces and use dependency injection. Used Google Test and Google Mocks.
