Having spent most of my career working for major product providers in the retirement and later life space, I launched Miles Associates Ltd to leverage that knowledge and experience via short and long term consultancy engagements. Having developed a specific interest in the provision and funding of social care, I am also Technical Director of care navigator firm My Care Consultant and part of the dynamic team behind Care Box, the fast growing online technical resource for financial advisers giving care advice. More recently I helped found the Financial Vulnerability Taskforce and the Consumer Duty Alliance, membership non commercial organisations whose purpose is to promote greater UNDERSTANDING, encourage appropriate BEHAVIOURS and establish GOOD PRACTICE in respect of consumer vulnerability and good client outcomes amongst personal finance professionals.
