PhD Candidate | Research Assistant at the Bio-Inspired Machine Intelligence Lab, University of Michigan-DearbornI am currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, specializing in vision-based autonomous driving and deep learning. My research primarily focuses on mitigating latency in vision-based control systems for autonomous vehicles, leveraging deep learning techniques.I hold a strong background in autonomous vehicle control, with an MSc from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where my master’s thesis focused on camera-LiDAR calibration and sensor fusion systems. Prior to that, I earned a BSc in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Jordan, with a thesis on modeling a fully electric vehicle using MATLAB/Simulink.Throughout my academic career, I’ve gained extensive experience in teaching, research, and working with advanced technologies such as TensorFlow, ROS, and MATLAB/Simulink.
