Awtar is a Peace Building projects Coordinator with Sheba Foundation, also she is a community activist and trainer in peacebuilding and life skills, she has a BA in Information Technology from the University of Aden. She has worked on a number of projects in the fields of protection, health, gender and capacity building with some local and international organizations such as CARE, ACON and Advance. She has worked with women in many projects aimed at training women and building their capabilities, as well as in providing psychological support and monitoring cases of gender-based violence. She provided a number of training courses in peace building, conflict resolution and community safety, and also participated in a number of conferences at the national level in the governorate. Aden, Taiz, and Hadramout, in addition to being a member of the Leaders Network for Development affiliated with Resonate Yemen Foundation.
