About Axel Bindert

In the last 20 years I worked continously for the rotating electrical machines business. Starting as a young engineer in the development and testing of insulation systems I got the chance to travel around the world as a diagnostic engineer on motors and generators up to 300 MVA, gathering technical and cultural experiences.Quite early I got the chance to lead teams and right now I'm leading 3 teams with totally 12 people in the Technical Center for the service department of motors and generators up to 25 MW. I like this job as it has a wide variety of responsibilties and gives me the chance to improve my skills every day.In 2018 I took a new challenge and moved as the leader of low voltage products to BBC Cellpack. That was a quite short but interesting job.And now? Back to the electrical machines business at Gebrüder Meier AG / Regensdorf! It´s a business where experience and flexibility is a daily challenge (and that is what I want).

    After 2 years working as diagnostic Engineer I got the chance to lead this group of 5 people.Beside leading the team I also performed diagnostic work for the insulation system all over the world (approx. 60% of working time). This got me great experiences on hydro- and turbogenerators up to 625 MVA.My personal highlight:- Involvement in repair of 300 MVA turbogenerator within 6 weeks- Introducing life time assessment at a fleet of 80 turbogenerators in the middle east.
