I have developed a professional nexus consisting of contemporary and ancient culture expertise, online media management, self-determination, and academic eye to help improve companies.Today, I work at Christie’s, doing sale coordination with the antiquities department to bring the finest ancient objects and art to market at record setting prices. I also head Axel Getz Studio, a business I built myself from the ground up nearly 4 years ago, which began as an artist practice focused on organic abstraction but has become so much more. I built and run my own website and manage the production and sales of an International printing business of my designs. I exhibit in galleries worldwide and have created a career for myself through marketing production, sales and commissions. After multiple shows and hundreds of sales, I have advanced my brand beyond fine art and developed my professional abilities further in the creative space. It was not an easy decision to go solo, especially at the height of the pandemic, but this has provided me with incredible skills, insights, and connections. My academic background and initial professional career centered on sustainability practices that could be implemented in the cultural and financial circles. I began as an environmental, social, and governance investing specialist active in discovering and developing disruptive technology to create a more sustainable world while my award-winning academic research focused on how culture influences societies' understanding of climate change. Covid-19 shifted my environmental career towards the arts.I am proud of what I have and am always looking to expand my world view within the world of art and antiquities.
