Dedicated Career Education Specialist with a passion for guiding students toward achieving their professional goals. Leveraging a Master of Education degree in Higher Education from Providence College, I excel in providing comprehensive career advising, enhancing résumés and cover letters, coaching interview techniques, and exploring diverse career paths with students. Through this role, I've impacted the lives of over 150 students and alumni, assisting them in navigating the complex landscape of career development.At Salve Regina University, I work as a key piece in building an initiative to empower students through our innovative program, Compass Studios, where we facilitate the alignment of strengths, interests, and values with academic and career aspirations. Specifically, I contribute to the development of a course that will be part of the university's CORE curriculum, "Sophomore Studio". In this class I focus on enriching the learning experiences of up to 300 students per class. My commitment extends beyond the classroom, where I actively engage in planning and executing networking events, fostering valuable connections between students, employers, alumni, and community partners.With a background in sports administration and student development, I bring a unique perspective to my role. Previously, as a Spirit Program Graduate Assistant at Providence College, I managed operations for cheer, dance, mascot, and pep band teams, overseeing budgets, logistics, and student welfare. Additionally, my experience as an Assistant Cheerleading Coach honed my leadership and mentorship skills, resulting in the team's historic achievement of reaching UCA Nationals Finals.My academic journey includes a Master's degree in Higher Education from Providence College, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from The Ohio State University.
