During my close to 25 years of experience in the veterinary biological business, I have continued to build on my scientific knowledge, my ability to build strong relationships internally and externally and on my ability to generate results. This intersection of capabilities is where I add the most value to companies. I have used these capabilities to successfully drive swine, equine and cat/dog research and development projects, consistently exceeding the 95% mark of our internal progress tracking matrix. My teams consists of experts from various functions (research, marketing, production, finance, etc.) from across the globe. Coordinating cross-functional groups requires exceptional communication skills to convey complex concepts and outcomes in non-technical/non-scientific ways thereby bridging science and business. Leading diverse groups also taps into my innate ability to mobilize, motivate, and promote quality results from my teams. I am an acknowledged subject matter expert in my field with an excellent technical and scientific understanding, which, in combination with my patience, determination and persistence, allows me to execute complex projects. The thorough evaluation of available options, mapping out of different courses of action to generate feasible, innovative solutions and applying strong analytical and problem solving techniques are inherent parts of my approach to project management. My ability to drive detailed project management from inception to final outcome assessments and my exceptional communication skills, have not only served me well when working on internal efforts, but also in my efforts with 3rd party collaborators allowing me to excel in business relationship cultivation and management, 3rd party contract review and management.My preference is to work in a thriving team environment utilizing my ability to work well with others and to use my skills as a mentor and a developer of emerging talents.
