At uptime, we develop a predictive maintenance solution for elevators, helping elevator companies provide better service to their clients.I lead the engineering organisation: around 20 people split between 6 teams and spanning multiple specialties (front-end, back-end, embedded, hardware, data, SRE) and working hand-in-hand with the product team.

Responsible for Sen.se's tech team. Over the past year, we've launched the first three members of the SensePeanut family. The SensePeanuts form a new generation of smart and affordable BLE sensors (more: sen.se/peanuts/)

Working closely with the CTO, I:- helped build and lead the tech team (up to 4 people working on multiple applications and parts of our stack)- developed applications for Mother & the motion cookies- maintained and improved upon our current infrastructureDevelopment of the SensePeanut family ramped up starting Q4 2015. I took responsibility for developing the initial prototype applications (iOS & Android) and co-designed the BLE communication protocol. I then developed the first version of the SensePeanut iOS app in Swift. I also helped design the hardware assembly line, worked on custom tooling and made several trips to the factory to help supervise the first few batches.

I joined Sen.se a few months before the official launch of Mother & the Motion cookies. Main tasks achieved during that period:- Developed applications for the Mother & Motion cookies (Python, Django, AngularJS, MongoDB)- Built upon the existing infrastructure using Ansible to handle production load, improve availability, automate deployments and document the processes- Migrated the datastore from MongoDB to Cassandra, resulting in improved performance- Contributed to the evolution of our platform's API and opening of a client-facing developer API

Developed from scratch the frontend for the customer-facing admin backend, using AngularJS.

Naow, then Enquire, was a location-based Q&A iOS app. I developed the first iterations of the application, using a BaaS (Parse) and Objective-C.

Worked on wireless routing protocols for sensor networks. In particular, I drafted an updated specification of ODMRP (On-Demand Multicast Routing Protocol) and presented it at IETF 89 in London.

I cofounded Pionid, a company specialised in the development of mobile applications, while at Ecole Polytechnique. We developed Mojogroups, a rich, multi-device instant group messaging application. MojoGroups was awarded first price (25k€) of the Zodiac Aerospace Entrepreneurship competition in 2011.

Hipercom was a computer networking research group in collaboration between the LIX (Ecole Polytechnique's computer science lab) and Inria. It has now been replaced within LIX by the Epizeuxis research group.My work there revolved around wireless routing protocol for sensor networks, starting with performance analysis of the LOAD protocol. I also contributed to the design and specifications of the LOADng routing protocol within the MANET working group of the IETF, which led me to attend several IETF meetings during and after that internship.
